The curious creatures came about after various conversations on IRC and through one of the news groups I was participating in at the time. The first curious creature to be know by the wider world was the invisible turtles. A thread was started on the comp.sys.atari.st newsgroup. (Babi Turtyus Invisiblus) The baby turtles are invisible (and very small).  And manage to cause more than their fair share of mischeif.

I re-wrote some of the conversation, as I converted the code for the updated website, just because I had the opportunity to do so and the thoughts popped into my head.
